No sound with an Intel ICH7 with ALC655 (AC'97 codec)

Hi all. I got this sound card but I'm not able to make it work.

The card gets detected by ALSA, I can open the mixer and everything
seems perfectly normal. The only problem is that I can hear no
sound. I tried to mute/unmute all channels and played with the volume
levels so I really don't think it's a problem with my mixer settings.

I tried ALSA 1.0.13 and 1.0.14rc2 and I got the same result in both
cases.

Regarding the kernel version, I'm using Linux 2.6.17.14 right now, but
I also tried 2.6.19.2 and 2.6.20rc5 (and the ALSA driver included in
these kernels).

This is the syslog output when I load the modules:

And this is the mainboard in which the chip is integrated in case it
helps:

If you need some other data just ask me.

Any kind of help or clue will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
