MythTV ALSA problems

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I've installed MythTV on openSUSE 10.2 and having problems with sound.
The sound quality is poor like if the encoding was set to 8Khz (not sure
where to check though). I've tried googling and mythtv mailing list but
nothing came up.

I've Dvico Fusion 5 GOLD HDTV tuner which audio output is wired to the
AUX input of my sound card. The live TV (i.e. kdetv) is OK so I don't
suspect the kernel modules but some alsa capture device config issue.(?)

How do I set capture device rate to 48kHz (or 44100?)

Any hints appreciated ;)

Thanks,
Brano
