Hi, i've investigated this issue further. Compiled with gcc-3.4 (instead of 4.1 or something) i don't get any unresolved symbols. Sadly, the former error stays: # xxx:~>amixer set Master 100 # Simple mixer control 'Master',0 # Capabilities: pvolume # Playback channels: Front Left - Front Right # Limits: Playback 0 - 31 # amixer: relocation error: amixer: symbol snd_mixer_selem_get_playback_dB, version # ALSA_0.9 not defined in file libasound.so.2 with link time reference I hope someone of you got another idea, i'm totally lost. cu stahlsau 2006/12/4, Benoit Fouet <benoit.fouet@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>: > stahlsau wrote: > > Hi @ you all who read this, > > i'm afraid to say but i'm another one of those poor and lost > > help-seeking alsa-newbees.
