Soundblaster Live! Platinum loses its IRQ

Hello.

I have several soundcards in my machine, including a Soundblaster Live!
Platinum (model: CT4760).

The other cards work well, but this one has trouble, either alone in the
system or with the other cards.

The problem is: as soon I want to use it, I get a message that the card waq
removed:

ALSA
/ext/test/alsa/alsa-driver-1.0.13/pci/emu10k1/../../alsa-kernel/pci/emu10k1/irq.c:44:
snd-emu10k1: Suspected sound card removal
ALSA
/ext/test/alsa/alsa-driver-1.0.13/pci/emu10k1/../../alsa-kernel/pci/emu10k1/irq.c:48:
interrupt: PCI error

Furthermore, it makes my eth0 adapter crash too:

Oct 30 16:29:21 sleuth kernel: eth0: Adapter failed.

I get this in /var/log/syslog:

eth0: -- ERROR --
      Class: Hardware failure
      Nr: 0x264
      Msg: unexpected IRQ Status error
      eth0: Adapter failed.
      ALSA

and I can't access the network anymore.

I asked for help on comp.os.linux.hardware, and somebody told me it could be
an IRQ conflict; fiddling with the BIOS helped temporarily, but the problem
reappeared. Anyway, eth0 and EMU10K1 don't share the same IRQ (eth0 is the
sk98lin on IRQ 16).
