If you're interested in large statistical samples, on a grand total of
4000 1 TB Seagate Barracuda ES2, I had to replace 2100 of them over the
course of 3 years.

That's a good sized statistical sample. Oddly enough, perhaps, the ones that failed on me were also 1T Barracuda drives, and my failure rate was 40%.
