I have finished compiling 4.3.0 of XFree86 (from XFree86.org
download source code) .
It is fail when I run the startx command.
the error massace as follow:
[root@lab8620 root]# startx

this is my path of system of redhat 9.0
$PATH -bash: /usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/root/bin: No such file or directory I have checked about "libexpat.so.1" is ok . But the file is
existence in redhat 9.0 (from CD)
the i740_drv.o size is small than redhat 9.0 (from CD install,it has no
source code)
(from source compilier is 39106 ,the redhat 9.0 version is
43602bytes)
How do I fix the issue?
