Hello, I installed Redhat 7.3 and the Gui didnt come up. the command prompt is there and i can execute commands. but when i give startx, it showed the following errors. (==)Log File: '/var/log/XFree86.0.log" Parse error on line 242 Config file /etc/X11/XF86Config "Device" is not a valid keyword in this section (EE) problem parsing config file (EE) Error from xf86HandleConfig() Fatal server error: no screens found xIO: Fatal IO error 104 (connection reset by peer) on Xserver ":0.0" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining i tried fedora core 1 and also 3. but i had the same problem. the GUI didnt come up.
