I am currently running redhat 9.0 and using the default XFree86 (version
4.3.0-2). I am trying to setup dual touch screen monitors (using twinview)
and I am working on modifying the xf86Elo.c to allow me to use both touch
panels appropriately.
I am wondering if there is some sort of tutorial out there that gives me a
run-down as to how to compile the source code to make the new driver file.
I am relatively new to this whole process (obviously), so any help would be
greatly appreciated.
xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/doc/BUILD, in the sources.
Also, 4.3.0 is fairly old now, so you might consider basing your work on
something more recent.
