People,
I have installed X on a server and all is well; it starts with GDM at startup and runs smoothly. Now that the server is ready I want to smack it in a closet, but as soon as I disconnect the mouse it refuses to autostart. It starts to bitch that there is no mouse attached. Well, wasnt that just the idea? Any hints on what to put in the config to make it start with no mouse attached? For the moment the mouse is attached on the box and is quietly asleep in the closed together with the server, but I want to set the poor thing free! Any suggestions?
