Trying to get XFree86 4.5.0 running on my thinkpad. It runs OK but I cannot get
it to use any resolution other than 640x480.
If it's a T23, try using one of the savage_drv.o versions available from
http://www.probo.com/timr/savage40.html
I got full resolution of 1400x1050 using those when running XFree86 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 (not 4.5)
exactly which one will work depends on a few things and trial and error may be best -
e.g. for me, when on XFree86 4.3, the version which timr labels as his v1.1.27 for XFree 4.3. did NOT work but the one labelled for 4.2 did (!)
