problem: ATI range 128/dual display/Dell Latitude C600

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I am not able to have display both at my laptop and on a
projector/another monitor. I am not going to have two different
displays, as some of posts suggests -- just have the same stuff shown in
two places. In fact, I have no idea what special steps should be taken,
maybe I simply have not required it in a config, I do not know. Any
help would be appreciated. I attach my XF86Config and a log file. One
line in a log file bothers me slightly, it complains there is not enough
memory. I think I have a standard 8Mb card, why 9 MB is required? Also funny is a suggestion a Dell laptop has a 400x300 mm display. Setup
shows that ATI is M3, it seems not to be mentioned in a log file. Linux
is RedHat 9 with a kernel 2.4.20-20.9. Computer is Dell Latitude C600.

Best regards to all
