Hi, i hope you can help me with this problem. I have install Red Hat
2.1 AS running on an IBM computer. The video card that has this
computer is not support by Red Hat 2.1, so I used the drivers for
VESA.

If i start Linux i am able to use graphical interface, but if i go to
command line and i want to run again the graphical interface i am not
able. If i press Ctrl+Alt+F7 the screen doesn´t show a thing (no error
messages), the screen keept black. If i try to run X using startx, the
following message appear:

Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock
        and start again.

When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send
