16:9 LCD modes

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I am running linux 'Sarge' V2.4.27-1-386 on a Gigibyte motherboard
GA-8I865GVMK with on-board video (Intel 810).

I have a 30" LCD 16:9 which is capable of 1280x768 native.

My problem is that I cannot run the screen in any 16:9 mode.

I can actually run it at 1280x1024 which is a 4:3 mode, so I don't have
any problem getting the horiz or vert frequencies. (and any lower res
like 1024x768 work OK)

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this thing to work in
a 16:9 mode? I had a look at the xfree86 log which seemed to indicate it
could do 1280x720, but I tried it with no luck.

I have attached the log and config file.

Thanks for your help
Dave
