Your XFree86 version is about 3.5 years old. The "nv" driver that ships with it doesn't support that card because it hadn't come out yet at that time and wouldn't for a couple years yet. You either need to upgrade to a newer XFree86 version (at least 4.3.0) or use the Linux drivers available from NVIDIA's web site, which should work with your current XFree86 version. Mark. I tried to run Xconfigurator to configure my Graphics Card (GeForce 5900 Ultra) which is not listed as a supported card, but I could not work out my problem. I couldn't configure the right settings of the card. I have sent the following logs in case they are helpful. > > XF86Config-4 > XFree86.0.log > XFree86Version.txt (this is the output of XFree86 -version) > > I also tried to modify XF86Config file but it didn't work. > > Can you tell me the right settings for this driver? > Thank you! > > Yours Sincerely > Bassam Lababidi _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list XFree86@xxxxxxxxxxx http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
