A few strange X errors

I am getting two weird errors:
1. 
_XSERVTransSocketOpenCOTSServer: Unable to open socket for inet6
_XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for inet6/(none):0
_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to open listener for inet6

2.
(II) I810(0): Not using default mode "1024x768" (unknown reason)
This is the native resolution of my monitor. It should be the resolution
that X picks up and uses as its default.
