I installed RH7.2 on a HP Pavilion N5425 (i686) Laptop. Had problem with X. Upgraded to XFree86-4.1.0-3. Now everything fine. Make sure you set video mode to 1024x768 only with Xconfigurator. That way, X will utilize all your monitor.
