on my motherboard's (Intel) BIOS there is an option to choose video memory 
size (1, 8 or 16 MB).... so that's the reason why I was asking that to 
you.....

It is probably the problem you mentionned because your Xfree.log contains a 
lot of strange error messages about memory concerns.....

I'm sorry but I haven't any other idea that could help you anymore... :-((
