Hi,
I have installed Redhat Linux 9.0 on Dell C600 laptop. But I am not able to boot it into the graphical mode. During installation the monitor could not be probed properly. I tried first with the unprobed monitor, and then Dell 1024x768 display panel options, but every time I keep getting the following errors:

(EE) R128(0): No valid modes found
(EE) Screens found, but none have a usable configuration.
Fatal server error:
no screens found

I faced the similar problem in the past also. I tried a lot to troubleshoot it with different combination of XF86 settings, but with no avail. Would highly appreciate if you can help me in this.

Thanks and Regards,
Narayan Sharma
