I posted a brief note a week or so ago on problems with an i865 chip. I'm now fairly certain that I'm seeing a bug in 4.4.0 compared with 4.3.0. On 4.4.0, I'm seeing "(EE) I810(0): No Video BIOS modes for chosen depth." On 4.3.0, it works. I tested both servers on NetBSD-current with the same config file on an HP dc5000. 4.4.0 always fails; 4.4.3 always works.
