Back on the 12th of June, i.e about 13 days ago, I tried to drop a different video card into my main workstation/server system here, which is running FreeBSD 5.2.1. Unfortunately XFree86 barfed on the card. I have no idea why, and would appreciate any insight into this unfortunate problem that anyone could provide.
