Re: IBM P200, Nvidia TNT

If the monitor is a sync-on-green monitor you'll need a card
capable of outputting sync-on-green (NVIDIA cards will not), or
you'll need an external box which puts the sync-on-green. They're
not difficult to make if you have some remedial electronics skills.
Schematics can be found on the web. Some companies sell such boxes.

If the monitor is fixed frequency you'll need to create a
modeline that matches, to less than one percent, the monitor's
expected horizontal sync rate, or else it won't sync.

From the info I can find on the web, the P200 is definitely
not fixed frequency, but there is some suggestion that it's
sync-on-green, though I didn't see any definitive answer.

The only sync-on-green video cards I've had experience with
were Matrox Millenium II/G200/G400. I did make my own external
box once though.
