   I don't think the "nv" driver that comes with XFree86 supported
nForce1 internal graphics until XFree86 4.2.0 (you are using 4.1.0).
You'll either need to upgrade your XFree86 version, or use NVIDIA's
binary graphics drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux.html)
which should work with your current XFree86 version.
