Hi, Thanks for the reply, after the error occurred I deleted some stuff to clear up some space and it didn't fix the problem. I thought that it may have still caused the problem. Anyway probably doesn't matter now, does anyone know how I should go about repairing the file and which file I need to repair, Thanks, Tom -----Original Message----- From: xfree86-admin@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:xfree86-admin@xxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Cynthia Grossen Sent: Wednesday, 9 June 2004 11:00 PM To: xfree86@xxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Error initializing xterm Your font server has crashed. http://xfree86.linuxwiki.org/FAQErrorMessages#head-66113454d1ddc398ffb1e 7bce3fb588e7d5dff4d The full partition may be the cause of the crash or it could be unrelated. It would depend on which partition is full. The "best" way to fix a partition that is too small is to remove unnecessary stuff until it isn't full. If that is not possible then you will need to re-partition your harddrive which probably means a re-install too. Some distros have tools to grow partitions, I don't know if Mandrake is one of them nor do I know how reliable they are where they exist. -----Original Message----- From: xfree86-admin@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:xfree86-admin@xxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tom Close Sent: Wednesday, June 09, 2004 12:52 AM To: xfree86@xxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Error initializing xterm _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list XFree86@xxxxxxxxxxx http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86 _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list XFree86@xxxxxxxxxxx http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
