I know that the 810's have bios problems on some laptops, but I assume that's not the problem here -- though if it's an Intel mobo, I suppose that's still a possibility. Just locks up like that at that point in the log? What happens on screen? And have you re-run whatever configurator your distro might come with from scratch since pulling the other card?
