Dear, please help me
I´m trying to configure my Red Hat 9.0 to accept my monitor. I have a DELL inspiron 1100 laptop and the linux is working fine but not at full screen.
I´m trying to set the /etc/X11/XF86Config file throught the Setings on the task bar, but when I try to increase the resolution to fit on the screen monitor the startx can´t start anymore. The erros follow:
(EE) I810(0): No BIOS Video Mode for Chosen Depth.
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration
Fatal Server error
No screens found
….
XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server “:0.0”
After 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
If you have time to anser me I appreciate and thank you in advance. I really don´t know what to do.
