I have installed the FREEBSD Xfree86 version 4 on my laptop HP
type ze4424ea without any problems. But i do have a problem configuring
XWindow on it.How do I write in monitor type into the horizontal sync.range
section in the config program. The monitor is: 15" XGA TFT,
1024x768.
Further I could not find my video card definition in the
list.
The video card is an Integrated AT Mobility Radeon +m
up
to 64MB memory. Do I have to load a file down for it and from
where? Any other hints on how to fill in the config file.
I got "Monitor not found".Further I got: "connection to :0,0
broken" and "xauth: (argv):1: bad display name":0" ".This
last one I might have corrected by altering "My Monitor"
to"Monitor"?
