Hi all I have compiled and installed Xfree86 4.4.0 on Intel Pentium 4 based desktop running Linux kernel 2.6.5. Thanks, lot of issues bothering with earlier releases now gone. But when I try to install Gimp 2.0, Gimp complains that: fontconfig: requires 2.2.0 but found 1.0.2. I tried to CVS upgrade the fontconfig included in Xfree86 according to CVS check out instructions as per http://www.freedesktop.org/Software/fontconfig. But it leads to compilation errors in Xfree86. Could somebody please help me to upgrade the fontconfig included in Xfree86? If it is a CVS upgrade, I appreciate if you could include exact CVS commands to be used. Many thanks in advance.
