How to add a new keycode?

Hi everyone,

I got a new keyboard with a few extrakeys and would like to use them (i.e. with hotkeys). The problem is, when I start "xev" and press the desired key, nothing happens. I switched to console and tried "showkey". The result was (example with one of the keys):
atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0x91 on isa0060/serio0).
atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e011 <keycode>' to make it known.

I tried to lookup the xkb documentation, but couldn't find anything that helps. So please help, how do I add the key 'e011' to my keymap for X?

Any help will be highly appreciated! (Please cc me in your answers)
TIA!

Regards,
Todor
