1) Remove "glx", "GLcore" modules from Your XF86Config.
if will not help
2) Disable DRI support in the Linux kernel. That mean moving file
/lib/modules/2.4.XX/kernel/drivers/char/tdfx.o where You want, to
prevent loading.
