hi, the symptoms are: -when Im using pure xfree 4.3 without any option my desktop has a yellow line from up to down in the 1/4 of length of screen. Mouse cursor has sticked square, which has about 35 mm of length. When Im moving the mouse cursor on my desktop is appearing a snow similar to the one which can be obtained when somebody is trying to get some TV canal by moving the beam-aerial. When a window is moving on my desktop stays frames of the previous window positions, so after several movings the desktop is unreadable. -when Im using the SWCursor option my mouse cursor is drawed correctly without a square, but during move there is a square smudge after the cursor. the problem with smudge is solved when I turn on the ShadowFB option. With ShadowFB option turned on the smudge and frames didn't appear, but the "snow" distortion is still there. The rest of options like early_ras_precharge, late_ras_precharge, "slow_edodram", "set_mclk" didn't help also. on my Virge chipset are such overprints: Q5C4BB 86C385 9721 B4H54 TAIWAN ;-) At the end of my email is my XFree log.
