 ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libbitmap.a
should show a that the file exists
 rpm -q XFree86
should show that the package is installed

This is part of the XFree86-4.3.0 package, so if it is missing then you should
reinstall the XFree86 package.

The real question is why is this file missing?
