Newbie X Error: (EE) Failed to load module "bitmap"

Hi,

	I'm running Mandrake 9.2 for a class and can't get X to start.  For some 
reason I keep getting:

(EE) Failed to load module "bitmap" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) Failed to load module "pcidata" (module does not exist, 0)

	Does anyone know what this might mean?  I thought it might be a support 
issue for the GeForce4, does X4.3 come with drivers for this card?  I'm 
running this on a system with the following configuration:

AMD XP 2000+
256 MB Ram
ECS KT7S5A Pro mobo
MS USB Mouse
MSI GeForce 4 ti 4800

	If anyone has any ideas they'd be greatly appreciated, I'm pretty new to 
linux but this OS class makes it sound really cool.
