Hello,
I'm not really sure but may be if to try to comment the line containing the font
path "unix/:7100" in the XF86config file to see if it works better (X should
then load its default font path)

something else: "station2 xfs: cannot establish any listening sockets" may be
the socket is locked by a remaining .lock file
