in my xterm, the _cursor jumps to the beginning of the current line after inputting 25 characters_ and continues to show what is typed over what has already been typed. The attached figure may be useful (it shows a cursor on the left of the line after more than 25 charcters where typed).
I run SuSE 9.0 with KDE 3.1.4-52, XFree 4.3.0.1-29 and qt 3.2.1-56. Any help would be greatly apreciated...
