   Yes, I would expect the 32bpp to be half the performance
of 16bpp.  That driver also has (or at least had) and option
of running in 24bpp.  You might try it there.  Back from when
I ran Matrox cards on P3s, I thought I recall getting closer to
150/sec.  I had the SGRAM versions of the cards though.  The
SDRAM versions might be slower.  You might also see if the
resolution/refresh rate has anything to do with it.  If it
does, it would imply that memory bandwidth is running out.
Back when I worked on the driver there was an "OverclockMem"
option that would give you more memory bandwidth.
