startx issue

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hope someone can help me out, I'm a real newbie and could do with it.

Please refer dmesg.txt for details of hardware / installation and startx error messages
When I try to access the /var/log/XFree86.0.log and the xdm_flags  I received the message on screen
'Permission Denied' although I'm logged on as root.

Regards
Eddie Wright
