Goes wrong when launching a site search in mozilla when booted with xircom credit card modem in pcmia slot (no problem if removed prior but makes contact with the outside world rather difficult). Restarts window login and reports to the text screen :-

I am totally new to linux (4 days) so my configuration may not be perfect but I would not expect this problem regardless.
