I'm trying to get "320x240@60" working on my radeon with a dual-dac setup. What I would like is to have my Nintendo emulator run on one screen and for the other to be usable for other tasks. Here is where I'm at. I used http://xtiming.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/xtiming.pl to generate some modes. Modeline "240x256@60d" 10.45 240 272 288 320 256 261 264 269 doublescan Modeline "256x224@60d" 9.58 256 288 304 336 224 228 231 236 doublescan Modeline "256x256@60d" 11.00 256 288 304 336 256 261 264 269 doublescan Modeline "320x200@60d" 10.21 320 352 368 400 200 204 206 211 doublescan Modeline "320x240@61d" 12.37 320 352 368 400 240 245 248 253 doublescan Modeline "400x300@60d" 18.96 400 432 464 496 300 306 309 316 doublescan Modeline "512x384@60d" 30.76 512 544 600 632 384 392 396 404 doublescan None of these modes took, I think i need to make them interlace as well. II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "240x256@60d" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "256x224@60d" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "256x256@60d" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "320x200@60d" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "320x240@61d" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "400x300@60d" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "512x384@60d" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using default mode "320x175" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using default mode "320x200" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using default mode "360x200" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using default mode "320x240" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) (II) RADEON(0): Not using default mode "320x240" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan) I'm useing CVS from dri.sf.net. I did see that there is allready a "640x480" /w 60Hz, but it wasen't used :( (**) RADEON(0): *Default mode "640x480": 36.0 MHz, 43.3 kHz, 85.0 Hz (II) RADEON(0): Modeline "640x480" 36.00 640 696 752 832 480 481 484 509 -hs (**) RADEON(0): Default mode "640x480": 31.5 MHz, 37.5 kHz, 75.0 Hz (II) RADEON(0): Modeline "640x480" 31.50 640 656 720 840 480 481 484 500 -hs (**) RADEON(0): Default mode "640x480": 31.5 MHz, 37.9 kHz, 72.8 Hz (II) RADEON(0): Modeline "640x480" 31.50 640 664 704 832 480 489 491 520 -hs (**) RADEON(0): Default mode "640x480": 25.2 MHz, 31.5 kHz, 60.0 Hz (II) RADEON(0): Modeline "640x480" 25.20 640 656 752 800 480 490 492 525 -hs My question is how do I use these OTHER modes, and dose any one know what modeline will produce the most 'authentic' video? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
