Klaus, My system has the same card (S3 Trio 64) and it has the same problem with XFree 4.2.0 when Mandrake 8.2 was installed. After verifying it wasn't something which was messed up in my application, I installed XFree 3.3.6 and the problem was not present. The problem occurs with the XDrawLine call. In general, the longer the line segment, the worst the error. It appears like the second xy point in the call is getting corrupted. I wrote a small xforms application which demonstrated the problem and sent it to the list, but did not see any response. I assumed I was the only one who had experienced a problem.
