I recently upgraded from a Matrox G450 to a Radeon 9100. I was a little disappointed
in the results. I guess I was expecting too much. Anyway, for the Radeon 8500/9100
folks out there, how do these numbers look?
I have a radeon 9200 with a Athlon 2000+ and 512 MB (don't think it is important here) and glgears gives me 1570 FPS (in 24 bpp). So I guess your result are ok AFAICT.
