If you're talking about network traffic generated by X connections, you'll need to generate accounting information for access to that port. You might need the superuser to do it.

hello ,

I would like to know if anyone has an idea about monitoring the traffic on an
X Server. Somebody told me that the X clients send the requests to the PORT
6000+number of the display. I have got a LAN with 20 hosts and I want to know
how much of the total traffic they consume.
