Your X server configuration file is invalid.  My guess is that 
you're trying to use an XFree86 3.3.6 config file with 4.x.

Delete your config file, and create a new proper one with 
"Xconfigurator" as root.

P.S. You are using an ancient X server release which contains 
numerous security flaws, which have since been fixed and released 
as updates to that OS release.  It is recommended that you update 
all software on your system to the latest updates provided by Red 
Hat, including XFree86 4.2.1.
