Please help me, I need to change the refresh rate of my monitor.
I use Red H. 9.0a, with kernel version: 2.4.20-20.9.
Chipset: Nforce 2 Ultra (Gigab. "GA 7N400-L", bios version "F5")
Video: Nvidia Geforce 4 ti 4600
Monitor: LG F900P (Flatron)
Cpu: athlon xp 2600+
Ram= 512 mb pc3200

XFree86 Version: 4.3.0 (Red h. linux release: 4.3.0-2) 27 february 2003
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release: 6.6

I don't know how to change the refresh rate of the monitor. I don't know
how to do. I know(well...I think) I should edit and change the
XF86Config file, but i can't see any voice about refresh rate(s). I have
to say that the operative system doesn't recognise the monitor, so i
have manually filled the required fields, with the manufacturer's
specifications, so that I can set the right screen resolutions, but,
again, no voices about the refresh rate(s), that it's fixed at 60 mhz.
Please, Help me.
Thanks and sorry for my english, i am from Italy.
