"XFree86" is the trademarked name of the software we produce, and we've been using it for just over eleven years (since September 1992). We don't plan on changing our well-known and well-established name. Besides, what's wrong with acknowledging the Project's roots on a hardware platform that was considered at the time by most in the traditional X world to be irrelevant? Did you also know that XFree86 started on out on UNIX SYSV (SVR4 and SVR3) platforms, followed by 386BSD, Mach386, and then Linux, (and shortly after by Minix, Amoeba, SCO, OSF/1)? >Congratulations on your great job and I hope you can solve this problem >;P Thanks, but we don't see it as a problem.
