[XFree86] naming issues

I'm using XFree86 with Debian in a iBook computer, and also in a iMac running Mac OS X and I think the project name is absolutely incoherent. I don't understand why the name XFree86 refers to an specific piece of hardware.

"The primary goal of the XFree86 Project is to produce XFree86™and to make it the best freely-redistributable Open Source implementation of the X Window System by implementing it on as many >>hardware<< and software platforms as possible"

Launching X11 it's like putting a sticker of "I love intel" on my PPC computers. It's very easy to think another name less computer specific like "XFree", "XFreePC" (yes, mac's are also personal computer's) or something else.

Congratulations on your great job and I hope you can solve this problem ;P
