[XFree86] How to adjust strength of anti-aliasing?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I am using XF86 4.3.0 on a LCD and enabled anti-aliasing from within KDE. The
problem is: Without anit-aliasing the letters are "cornered" as usual on
LCDs. With anti-aliasing the letters get a clearly visible grey "shadow". I
fooled around a bit with the intra-pixel hint, and it is a bit better, but
still it seems as if the grey color used for anti-aliasing is a bit too dark.
It would look realy great if the anti-aliasing would be done with a bit
brighter grey. Can I adjust the strength (darkness) of that shadow somewhere?

Thanks for any help!
Markus
