[XFree86] Haveing proplems with X and an LCD monitor

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello.

I´m using:
XFree86 Version 4.3.0
Release Date: 27 February 2003
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 6.6
Build Operating System: FreeBSD 5.1 i386 [ELF]
Build Date: 17 October 2003

Abit Siloru T400 video adapter ( Nvidia chipset ).

I have attached my XFree86 Config file and a log file from XFree.

Here´s the proplem:
When I start X with 'startx' I get a "No Signal" error on my LCD OSD and it
hangs there for ever...
It lookes like X started with no proplems and everything is okey but it isn´t
;D.

But if change the vsync and hsync values ( tip from a friend ) to 30-96 and
50-160 I get a "bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan lines into my XFree86 log.
I have no idea what is wrong my LCD monitor does support 1280x1024@75Hz I know
that ( tested on a Windows machine ) and My laptop wich is running:

An ATI onboard video adapter.

the same :). He is able to "send a signal" to my LCD monitor ( connected via
dockstation ) but then I have these "blurry" lines that is about 3 thick line´s
( 2cm ) vertically down the screen are blurry wich is really weird.

Any help/suggestions/comments are very very welcome.

Thank´s in advance.
