[XFree86] Access url from xterm in web browser

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello.

Is it possible to access a link (URL) that is displayed
in a terminal (xterm), by openning the link in a web browser
(without direct copy and paste operations), like one can do
with konsole and gnome-terminal?

With gnome-terminal, one can use CONTROL+BUTTON1 with
the pointer over the text of the link,
or one can perform the following steps:
1) Move the mouse over the URL until the URL is underlined
and the mouse pointer changes to a hand.
2) Right-click on the URL to open a popup menu.
3) Choose Open Link to start a link application and
display the file located at the URL.
