I am using XFree86 v.4.3.0, Slackware 9.1 and have a NVidia GeForce 4200 Go video card with 64MB RAM on a Dell Inspiron 8500
96My problem, which seems to be fixed by following the directions found @ http://www.linux-laptop.net/dell.html
is my border around my "display" is 2 inches and the screen scrolls up and down. My /etc/X11/XF86Config file has the following:
Section "Monitor"
Modeline "1680x1050" 147.14 1680 1784 1968 2256 1050 1051 1054 1087
Identifier "Dell Laptop Display Panel" HorizSync 31.5 - 107 Option "dpms" VertRefresh 50 - 150

I made the mistake of upgrading to a newer version of slackware and did not copy down my /etc/X11/XF86Config file! What is really wierd is this worked before...
Any Help would be greatly appreciated
