I have a problem with playing video...
using multiple programs(xine, mplayer) with every file type (divx, quicktime, mpeg) I've tried my computer displays only the top left quarter of the video I'm trying to play.
IF I PLAY A QUICKTIME OR WINMEDIA FILE WITH CROSSOVER IT WORKS FINE THOUGH!
I have built the most recent version of X and this hasn't fixed my problem (since then I moved back to the original because the new one broke a couple other things). The fact that crossover works makes me think that I might have something in Mandrake 9.1 misconfigured?
If I use the vesa driver video works as well. I know the ati driver should work though because it was working with a debian installation on the same machine.
Dell inspiron 8000 ATI Technologies Inc Rage Mobility M4 AGP XFree86 Version 4.3.0 Linux version 2.4.21-0.13mdk Mandrake 9.1
I've attached my XFree files.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help you can offer.
